Sanat Kumar Das

President

With vast knowledge and experience in natural living, he is leading the Organic Farming(with award winning techniques),Gurukul(School), Rural Development Program in over 20 villages around GEV. He is working with various organizations like BAIF for the development of rural farmers and is very instrumental in creating many self help groups for the local women. With the help of Bhaktivedanta Hospital, he was instrumental in bringing up a primary Health center in the Hamrapur village. As a part of his educational qualification he holds degrees in B.Com, L.L.B from Bombay University.

Gauranga Das

President

With a Graduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the reputed IIT Mumbai, he is leading the Govardhan Ecovillage Facilities, Nursery and the Green Buildings Construction(CSEB). He has bagged many awards for GEV by presenting the Symbiotic waste management systems followed in GEV in various reputed conferences like CII, SKOCH and FICCI. He is instrumental in bringing up the new Vedic culture and education center in GEV. He is also currently leading the much awaited Vrindavan Biodiversity project at GEV.

Hrishikesh Mafatlal

Mr. Hrishikesh Mafatlal is the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Arvind Mafatlal Group of Companies (AMG). Mr. Mafatlal has an Honors Degree in Commerce (1975) from the Sydenham College, Mumbai. In 1993, he attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at the Harvard Business School, USA. He is a past President and now a Managing Committee Member of The Millowners’ Association, Mumbai (MOA). He is a Governing Council Member of the N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research. He was a Member on the Board of Governors of IIM Ahmedabad for 12 years (1995 – 2007), and a Vice Chairman of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL). He is a Trustee of ShriSadguruSevaSangh Trust as well as BAIF Development Research Foundation.

Mr. Kushal N. Desai

Kushal Desai is currently Managing Director of Apar Industries Ltd. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Moore School of Electrical Engineering and a Business degree from the Wharton School, both of which are part of University of Pennsylvania.

Kushal Desai is on the Board of Governors of both Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad and DDMM Heart Hospital, Nadiad (Gujarat), which are charitable institutions in the field of Education and Healthcare. He sits on the Board of Trustees of The Lady Northcote Hindu Orphanage and is an Advisor to Midday Meal Program “Annamrita” which caters daily Lunch to over 1.6 million under-privileged children in Govt. schools in India.

Mrs. Maithili Desai

Daughter of a great business hero Shri Arvind Mafatlal and wife of Late She is the main visionary for the skill development and women’s empowerment program.

Mukund Dhanawade

Mukund Dhanawade is masters in chemistry, and holds a B.Sc. in Horticulture along with Diploma in Agriculture. He has 4 years of hands on experience in Organic Farming and has been instrumental in compiling a book on “Best Practices in Organic Farming” which is recognized by Agriculture department of Government of Maharashtra. Since 2014 he dedicated his life for the welfare of the rural community. He heads the operations of the Govardhan Rural Development Programme. Through culture of perseverance and kindness he has reached many villages and has expedited the programme with his leadership.

Vikas Srivastava

A marine engineer by profession has served Naval Dock Yard Mumbai for 15 years. His heart was for the welfare of the rural youths, thus he joined the Bhaktivedanta Kaushal Vikas Kendra since its inception in 2016. Since then he has been tirelessly working for the rural youths for Skill Development and Enhancement programme.

Anand Gosavi

Anand Gosavi has experience of 21 years in the field of technical education for rural youth. He has been the principal of Vigyan Ashram at Pabal for 5 years and now he shares his experience in giving the same knowledge to the youth in and around Wada taluka. He has 3 publications to his credit on Basics of Rural Technology.

Pushpa Hoshangadi

Pushpa Hoshangadi is B.Sc. tech in Polymer technology, but a teacher at heart, and teaches in Gopals Garden High School. She has been instrumental in setting up the educational programme in Aanganwadi’s and 3 Zilla Parishad schools, and form a team of local teachers. She trains the team of 8 primary school Zilla Parishad teachers in Pedagogy and Lesson planning.

Anita Iyer

Anita Iyer is a travel consultant along with diploma in Yoga and diploma in Muktangan Integrated Teachers Education. She has been assisting in forming the team of Aanganwadis teachers. She trains these teachers regularly in Lesson planning and Pedagogy. Being a yoga trainer she also conducts Childrens Yoga sessions for these teachers
